Journeys mission:
To be leaders in providing exceptional quality of care through a holistic approach for children, adolescents, adults and families to excel and heal from a variety of life struggles including trauma, adversity and mental health struggles in an empathic, safe and relationally based community environment.
Behavioral Health Therapy and Counseling
Together the independently licensed therapists, Stephanie Sanchez MA, LPCC and Donna M. Lucero MA, LPCC, NCC, IMH-E® IECMHC at Journeys have well over 60 years experience in the behavioral health field. Stephanie and Donna are the owners of Journeys Inc. established on 2004. Journeys therapists provide individual and family therapy. At Journeys we support clients in addressing various struggles to include anxiety, depression, Womens issues, LGTBQ+ related issues, and trauma. Journeys is able to bill Medicaid Managed Care Companies (Presbyterian, Molina Health Care), select private insurances as well a self pay.
Training and Professional Development
Donna Lucero, MA, LPCC, NCC has extensive experience providing training and professional development to various community partners, state agencies, schools, higher education, and non-profit agencies. Donna offers training and professional development on a wide range of topics many of which are anchored around the topic of trauma and the Impact and residue left by trauma. Consultation and Supervision
Donna Lucero is an approved supervisor and able to provide supervision for therapist working towards independent licensure. Additionally, considering the level of expertise both Stephanie and Donna can offer, consultation is also available at Journeys Inc. Stephanie has extensive experience providing behavioral health services in schools and working in school environments. Stephanie has extensive experience providing parenting therapy groups and engaging caregiver in psycho-education. Donna has extensive experience in the area of trauma, early childhood, and supervision.
